A BUILDING WITH A HISTORY
La Maison Cachée has been renovated in an old building des Posts, Telegraphs and Telephones. The architecture of this building makes it one of the most recognizable places in the town of Ault.
Located opposite the Church of Saint Pierre d'Ault built in the 13th century, Maison Cachée has a breathtaking view of this church listed as a Heritage Historic Monument .
AN EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCE
The facade is filled with clues about the history of Maison Cachée. You will discover a multitude of architectural details that recall the history of the place. Indeed, "the Dependency," our studio in the garden was until then, the former archive room of the postal mail service. "The Loft" on the other hand, housed the telegram room. On the first floor, "the Room" and "the Apartment" were dedicated to the housing of postal service employees.
WELL-BEING AS A GOAL
In order to preserve the heritage of the building, we have redesigned the space into a contemporary gîte with six bedrooms. The flower garden and a Concept Store complete this renovation. We have taken care to retain the original layout and wherever possible, to restore all authentic details. These elements are combined with bespoke finishes and high-end equipment to offer our guests a welcoming and comfortable stay.
